Gingerbread House

Ok. This craft DROVE ME CRAZY! K had a BLAST putting the stickers on, but I'm impatient and a perfectionist. I really learned how to control myself here! We usually do a real gingerbread house, with crackers and candy...but that gets to be pricey. I picked this kit up at Walmart for $5! And it was as cheap as that too. Not all that impressed with how everything went together. The photo on the box shows all the stickers laying flat and nice. RIGHT! Stickers are falling off due to how the house is made. Oh well. It took about an hour out of our night, which was great! We had a long day of playing and Mommy is very tired. Daddy had church tonight so K and I did this to pass the time! It was fun, minus my imperfections. But seriously though, K really did enjoy it. :)

I guess I have her trained. Cameras up...smile!

Sugar Cookies

Well this happened about a week ago...but we made sugar cookies! I didn't have my camera near by when we decorated them but K sure had a lot of fun using the cookie cutters! We bought 101 cutters for $10! And the box had the alphabet numbers all holiday themed and other random ones like sports and what not. I thought it was a great buy for only $10! Got it at Walmart!

Santa and Shaving Cream!

I've been looking around for Christmas themed crafts and I totally forgot about some that I did when I was younger! This Santa is PERFECT! K had a great time! All you need is

glue
cotton balls
paper

Cut paper into Santa's face and hat. I drew a glue line around the spots that needed cotton balls. Then, K placed the cotton balls into position.

TADA!
Yes, Santa is a LITTLE creepy. But I'm not an artist! :) Googly eyes would look much more appealing, but didn't have any on hand so I made my own eyes!

After finishing Santa, we brought out the wonderful SHAVING CREAM! Remember playing with this in school? It's the BEST! Messy, but SUPER easy to clean! And SUPER fun for the kiddos!
Happy Crafting!

Peanut Butter Bird Feeder

Another craft that's super easy and so fun! Notice how these crafts are not glamours and can only be accomplished if you are the most craftiest person ever! I'm not. But these crafts are so fun! All you need is
peanut butter
pine cone
birdseed
string
First step...spread peanut butter on pine cone.
Second step...roll peanut buttered pin cone in birdseed.
Third step...attach string and hang in tree. SIMPLE!
TADA!! All done! :)

Noodle Art

This craft is so simple and yet my daughter sat and did this for an hour! All you need is
glue
noodles
paper
and possibly crayons.
Easy. Let your child do the gluing. Teach to use just a little. The more they do, the more fun they have!

we colored the paper before we glued the noodles on. Took up more time :) Enjoy!
